Characters:
One character is Anna Scott. Anna is a famous movie star in London. She has a strong personality with a own will. She lives in a posh house and has through its world-famous job quite a lot of money. In the book get Anna compliments about her brown curly hair and green eyes.
One other character is William Thacker. He has his own bookstore which he manages all by himself. He has according to the book brown short hair and is very long. He is a very kind man who does what you tell him to do. He has lived alone for a long time and is at first sight directly in love with Anna.
Narrative technique
I don´t know the story-teller, but the book is written in the third person.
Settings:
The book takes place London in the open streets, but also inside the buildings. It's not a very detailed book but nevertheless describes so you understand how the environment looks like.
Language:
There are many good dialogues in the book. Sometimes they can be very difficult, so you have to use the dictionary. But most of the sentences and dialogues is written in good english that is easy to understand.
Theme:
The theme of the book is both love but also unhappy love. Anna and William get feelings for each other. Then they get problem when Anna's boyfriend gets home from London, which William did not know nothing about. It is a love book with lots of romance, but also bad moments when the book might be sad because of unhappy love. But there are also bad moments, then the book can be described in a sad way.
Message:
I think the author's message is That it does not matter if you are poor or rich, the most important thing Is that you are confident in yourself. It is well described in this book. Anna is a rich and world-famous movie star while William is a normal guy who owns a bookstore.
My own opinion:
I did unfortunately not read the last two chapters of this book. But I checked the last two pages of the book saw that Anna and William was together. I liked this book. It was easy to understand and in that way it was fun to read. I can recommend this book to people who like love stories and think it's fun to read about difficult love that ends very well.
